
Multi-Family Textile Collection
AVI collects textiles for recycling and reuse from Dublin Multi-Family residents the first full week of July, October, January and April. We accept clean, dry clothing, stuffed animals, bedding and towels.

Textile Pickup
Please have your property manager call at least 7 days in advance to notify AVI that you have textiles to be collected.
Amador Valley Industries offers free textile recycling for Dublin multi-family residents during the first full week of July, October, January, and April. Participation is simple:
- To schedule your Textile Pickup have your property manager call our customer service line at (925) 479-9545. AVI will work with the property manager to designate a collection location.
- There is no additional fee for this service.
- Place accepted textiles in a clear plastic bag.
- Only textiles that are contained in a clear bag will be collected.
- All items must be dry.
- Set bags at the designated collection location by 6 AM on collection day.
- Do not place textiles on or behind carts.
- Contact your property manager for questions related to collection areas or dates.
- Residents will not receive a tax-deductible receipt.

Acceptable & Non Acceptable Materials
All donations will go to Recycle For Change, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that collects and recycles used clothing and shoes to protect the environment and support sustainable development work across the globe. Want more information? Go to Recycleforchange.org.

Acceptable Textile Items
Please set out your textiles in a clear bag. All items must be dry.
- Clothing of all types for:
- Adults
- Children
- Babies
- Shoes for adults, children and babies
- Stuffed animals
- Bedding
- Towels
Non Acceptable Textile Items
This textiles are not accepted by this program:
- Wet textiles
- Moldy textiles
- Textiles that have biowaste, blood or toxic chemicals on them
- Items that are too worn to be used again
