AVI proudly supports student-led sustainability with programs that make a real impact. From fundraising through our Bottle and Can drive, to funding green campus projects through the Green Schools Program, we’re helping schools turn environmental education into action.

Green Schools Program
In 2005, AVI created a partnership with The Go Green Initiative, creating a grant program to help Dublin’s public schools fund projects (e.g. recycling, water conservation, school gardens, etc.) that improve students’ lives and help teach them to be responsible stewards of our environment.
AVI continues to provide assistance to schools that continue to show their commitment to waste reduction and proper sorting of recyclable and compostable materials. Campuses measure their progress towards their environmental goals and then briefly summarize their accomplishments. The results are then reviewed by the City of Dublin program administrator. Qualifying Dublin schools can receive hundreds of dollars per quarter for environmentally-related projects.
